Vivian

Ever since then, that shadow figure, since then a few strange things have been happening. One someone is following our blog; it’s Vivian. I’m learning a bit more about her story.
I don’t quite remember seeing a book in her hands, but something is strange about the way her eyes never left soma.
By reading her blog I learned she could see ghost, I never believed in ghost or spirits maybe it’s just the way that they never seemed real, the way in which they don’t seem to belong. But that creature WAS there, running, arm’s swaying, it existed, watching almost waiting before it scattered into thin air.
Soma’s words about something bigger than us, watching over us, stalking us silently. I don’t remember ever doing anything wrong, yet it’s being handed to me like I can take this.  Although Soma wanted to do some exploring I didn’t trust staying in that place for one more night this road trip seems to be taking a darker turn.
“Gabriel” Soma said, this was the second time she had used my real name, the second time Soma never felt like Soma.
“Yes?” I replied, somewhat unsure of what to expect next, her hands clutched her white skirt as she opened her mouth.
“Gabriel, I remember…”
I slammed on the brakes pulling the car to the side, looking into her eyes they looked duller like the eyes of someone who had been through torment, abuse, lifeless.
“..It was in December, colder than most days, she didn’t look happy with me but I don’t remember what I did. She brought out the kitchen knife, I begged for her to think about it to not do it. It was dark out then, the moonlight glinted off the metal and it hurt the sharpness, separated my skin over and over…”
I knew soma had scars on her legs, arms and torso I asked what they were from she never could remember until now, why now.
“..She kept calling my name, telling me it was my fault that he was gone, that I didn’t. That I shouldn’t live, should I live? Could it be my fault?”
Her name! “Soma your name…what was your name”, now that I think about it that had to be the most stupid thoughtless question.
She looked over at me, her eyes darker now, as if telling me there was no way in fucking hell she was telling ME her name, she grinned and cracked her neck softly.
I remember blacking out, when I awoke I was somewhere in the wood’s in a brook. Soma was nowhere in sight, and I cried out her name over and over.
I had to get out of the water, it was dark, and cold my first instinct told me find warmth. I wanted to ignore it, betray it find soma.
But something told me she didn’t want to be found.
I managed to escape the woods. And I saw soma on the road curled up, no cars were coming, and she just sat there watching me.
“You lived?”
“Yes I lived Dammit Soma!” I yelled from the ditch, “Tell me what’s going on!”
“I’m not ‘soma’ I told you my name, I whispered it into your ear as I placed you into the water” Soma tapped her ear softly; her blue eye looked brighter in the moon’s light.
She was officially freaking me out, and then as I looked into the trees behind her I saw a shadowy figure, short, under fed, a mask took the place of its face.
A mask that was always smiling.
“Gabriel!” Vivian? The young woman pinned me to the ground.
“She’s not herself, being possessed, him...” her fingers pointed to the Southeast’s sky, God? Let me tell you I stopped believing in god when I was six.
How do I describe what I seen, it, he, was no god. A monster, how did I not see it sooner, now that it was pointed out it seemed so, unreal?
Yes unreal, it seemed to watch me.
Facelessly watching.
“I have to get soma”
“Not now…” Vivian pulled me up, how far could we run? It would catch us, it watched us run down the road, soma was standing up now what seemed like a dark presence surrounded her, covered her, the tall figure walked behind her dark, faceless.
My legs felt as if they would give out, like something was restricting my breathing, wanting me to fall, wanting to kill me, this was pure fear driving me to follow the girl in front of me…
…causing me to not look at my love behind me.
Everything happened so fast. Now soma is gone, Vivian and I are in the city she brought me into the café, told the staff we needed their computer now, she wanted me to tell you this, she wanted me to tell her.
And now…now I just have to find Soma.

Someone new, Something strange.

We met a young adult on the road, Soma and I had passed multiple hitch hikers but Soma saw her and begged for me to stop.
So I did.
Eagerly Soma rolled down her window, "Hello!" she said quickly and excitedly.
"Hello, thank you for stopping" The poor girl was soaking wet; the rain had been pouring all day I felt bad for her.
"Come on get in!" soma said unlocking the doors, despite the fact of just meeting her soma seemed fine with openly letting her in, this girl didn't look like she could do any harm but in this world you can never be too sure.
"Thank you" the girl quickly got in it didnt bother me that my seats were now drenched with water what bothered me was that no one stopped to pick her up sooner.
I started driving again and the car was no longer quiet, "Whats your name?" "Vivian..." "Ah, where you going to Vivian?" "I'm not sure...I just need to find someone...
"Find someone?" I asked looking in the rear view mirror.
"My father"
"Oh?"
"Yeah he went missing; I'm on a search to find him"
"Ah so its like an adventure?!"
"Sort of..."
"Oh were going on an adventure as well!"
"Really, where are you two headed?"
"Somewhere nice!" Soma blurted out Vivian laughed lightly I couldnt blame her soma was full of energy and always blurting out things.
Vivian seemed a bit fidgety, her eyes never left soma's figure and I didn't like it.
After a few hours the rain stopped, Soma had crawled into the back with Vivian...both were fast asleep, Soma seemed to really like Vivian for have just meeting her.
I pulled into the nearest gas station, Vivian awoke abruptly and once she realized it wasnt raining she found a way to get out of the car without waking soma.
"Here..." she said handing me $65, "...I don't need it and I really have no other way to thank you"
I refused the money three times before i realized how sincere she was in giving me this sum of money.
I guess I had no other choice but to take it. "Please tell Soma I said goodbye and chance are we will be meeting again, I can feel it..."
What an interesting girl, soma woke up after Vivian was gone I told her what she said and Soma smiled brightly.
"I hope so I really like Vivian!"
I was reading a book in our motel room and something caught my eye, I turned my head and on the balcony was a slim figure, at least 6 feet five inches tall was striding very fast (with arms swinging) from the left hand side of the balcony to the right. It was a very dark almost charcoal grey in colour and had no facial features at all, it was almost certainly male.
As it reached the end of the balcony it turned its head towards me and then disappeared into nothing. Something instinctively told me that whatever this was negative and it felt very hostile. The fact that it turned its head in my direction before it disappeared truly gave me the chills because it had acknowledged that i was there.
"Look Wolfie!" Soma's shout nearly caused me to jump out of my seat in fear. "I love this song..." she said happily listing to the song that was playing on the television.

Jeff&Max

We Just dropped into Jeff's house (My older brother) , it was not in the original plan to stop into any of my family's house but I locked us out of the car. I feel like such an idiot, Soma wanted to go into a corner shop to buy some water, once we stopped Soma jumped out and ran into the store I waited for awhile but she never came out.

Curiosity led me to exit the vehicle and shut and lock the door behind me, as I entered the store I saw Soma with her water and a new NYY (New York Yankees) hat on her head. I guess her and the store owner were having a nice chat and he gave her the hat (which had been just laying there for a few months), he told me Soma was just staring at it and he couldn't just leave it there.

I give him a nice tip.

Upon returning to my car I realised I had left the key's inside and everything was locked up.
I uttered words that I do not wish to repeat and re-entered the store, thankfully my brother Jeff lives just a few miles away he came and picked us up. I never knew Jeff had a dog, Soma fell in love with Max the moment we saw him. It was a husky full breed, it too had heterochromia eyes, the same pattern as Soma one blue one brown.

The only difference was Soma's left eye is blue her right eye is brown, Max's left eye is brown and his right eye is blue. Soma refused to take off her new hat, she ate her hot dog laying on the grass, max laying on her stomach, she seemed to be in deep thought I rarely ever see Soma like this.

"Do you think were alone in this world?" she asked me this question last night with a dead serious face.

"what do you mean?"

"I think there is something out there Gabriel...it wants to hurt us....its bigger then us"

"Soma! what are you saying"

"I'm scared....he's out there.....right there...in the trees..."

"Soma?"

"right now...Wa..."

She passed out after that, that was the first time she has ever called me by my name. Soma please don't scare me like that, please tell me whats wrong. She woke up shortly after in my arms she curled up, all her scars all her pain please soma ingrave it into me I dont want you to be alone in this world anymore.

Soma...
I love you.

Skinny tall man

Soma keeps talking about a tall, well dressed, skinny man:

'The man, the tall man was standing outside our hotel in my dream. He was holding out his arms. I ran to the window hoping to see him he was not there.'

Who the hell is this guy? He better not do anything to Soma.
I'm becoming more conserned about Soma...something is not right.

Tree man

Love is stupid!! Love is stupid!! Love is stupid!!

Wolfie wont talk to me, hes mad because I 'broke' the camera, but I never broke it. I was recording I stopped recording then played the tape back and it was distorted and fuzzy. Why does my camera not work? being so upset all I could do was watch the trees as we passed them. A fog started to roll in so wolfie told me to roll up my window.

I swear I saw a guy waving at me from in the trees, he seemed friendly. He wore a black suit and was very tall, I thought I was seeing things but he stood there i swear he was standing right there, I tried to get wolfie to look, he said he never saw anything I turned back.

He was gone. I want to see the tall man again, he seemed nice. I drew a picture of him.

He is very intresting :D I hope I get to meet him again!
